About the Firm 

WA GUNDAN JR & ASSOCIATES was established in 1999 by Filipino architect Wilfredo Acildo Gundan Jr., who has more than 17 years of experience in the practice.  

Arch. Gundan started his career with Baguio-based firm Lagman Construction, where he learned the ropes of building design and construction by working as an architectural draftsman and site supervisor.  

He got his “big break” when he became part of Gabriel Formoso & Partners Architects, one of the most prestigious architectural companies in the Philippines and Asia. As Design Architect, he was involved in the construction of high-rise buildings. Almost all of the firm’s project are done in tandem with international consultant architects such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Kohn Pedersen Fox and Architecture International, to name a few.

Before becoming Principal Architect of his firm, Gundan also worked as Project Architect for Malaysian firm Kumpulan Senireka Sdn Bhd, where he was part of various high-rise and large scale master planning and land development projects, including Putrajaya – an alternate city to decongest the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. 

In 1999, he opened WA Gundan Jr. & Associates and started handling the construction of residential houses, interior commercial projects and proposed high-rise condominium buildings.  

Today, WA Gundan Jr. & Associates specializes in house design and construction and caters to all aspects of design and construction of low-rise, medium to high-end residential projects and in the design of all types of medium to high-rise and large scale projects.
