Building a new house can be one of the most satisfying activities a future homeowner can undertake. But it can also be very stressful. That is why some people opt to buy an existing property or choose to live in a condominium or an apartment instead.
The difference between building your dream house and a "haunted house" has a lot to do with determining that building a house is the best option for you.
Here are some of the advantages and disadvantages of building a house:

- All the components of the new house are of course, new, and most of the components feature the latest house design and construction trends.
- You should expect some delays during the design and construction process.
- New houses are generally built in areas of expansion rather than of decline.
- Buying a ready-made house or a used house doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re saving money; it will probably give you additional costs, like landscaping, window treatments and interior decorations once you move in.
